Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 June 2026
This policy explains how personal data of users visiting www.anticogallo.com is processed, pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and applicable Italian law.
1. Data Controller
The Data Controller is Antico Gallo, Via Bottelli 13, 28041 Arona (NO), Italy, VAT 02025710035.
Phone: +39 0322 46746 — Email: info@anticogallo.com
2. Types of data processed
This website is mainly informational and does not include contact forms, registration or payment. The data processed is limited to:
- Browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, collected automatically by the IT systems and the web server solely for the operation and security of the site;
- Data collected through technical cookies necessary for the site to function (see Cookie Policy);
- Data you voluntarily provide when contacting us by phone or WhatsApp (e.g. for a reservation). In that case the data is used solely to handle your request.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Operation, security and use of the site — legal basis: the Controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) and, for technical cookies, technical necessity;
- Displaying the interactive map (OpenStreetMap) — legal basis: the Controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) in showing the venue's location; the map sets no cookies;
- Handling reservation or information requests received by phone/WhatsApp — legal basis: pre-contractual measures and performance of the requested service (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
4. Third-party services
- OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation) — the interactive map is shown by default and sets no cookies. Loading the maps involves a connection to OpenStreetMap servers with transmission of the IP address. Policy: osmfoundation.org. The "Get directions" button is instead an external link that opens Google Maps only on click;
- Google Fonts — the typefaces are hosted directly on our server (self-hosted): displaying them does not involve any connection to Google's servers or transfer of data;
- Hosting provider and technical libraries (e.g. a CDN to load the interface) which process browsing data as data processors, solely to deliver the service.
The site also uses the browser's localStorage to remember your cookie choice. This is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to third parties.
5. Data retention
Browsing data is kept only as long as strictly necessary for security purposes and legal obligations. Data provided for a reservation is kept for the time needed to handle the request and any related obligations.
6. Your rights
As a data subject you may exercise at any time the rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
To exercise your rights, write to info@anticogallo.com.
7. Changes
The Controller may update this policy. Changes will be published on this page with the update date.
